Su An Phipps R. N., Ph.D. is the Founding Director of Healthy Women, Healthy Futures Oklahoma (a community based pre-pregnancy women’s health program) and is the program evaluator for Tulsa’s two Healthy Starts. A former NICU nurse, marriage and family therapist and College of Nursing faculty, the measurement of maternal risks, as well as the impacts of maternal mental health are some of her areas of interest. Su has been recognized by the Oklahoma March of Dimes for Excellence in Advanced Practice and by the Oklahoma Nurses Association, having received the District’s and State’s Nursing Research Awards for translating research into practice.

Yvonne Rojas is a project manager for La Clinica de Familia Healthy Start Program, a HRSA funded Level 1 US/Mexico Border Project. Ms. Rojas has a Masters of Arts in Elementary Education and Masters Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from University of Phoenix. Ms. Rojas has worked as a third grade teacher and has over 9 years of experience in working in intervention and prevention home visiting programs. Ms. Rojas’ experience and training for home visitation in early childhood comes through her work in Tresco Tots and La Clinica de Familia Healthy Start Program where her area of focus has been home visiting and assessment. Most recently, her work consists of supervising all aspects of the Healthy Start program, as well as promoting program services to professionals and community agencies and maintains community collaboration for the on-going provision of program services.

Misha serves as the Data Management Analyst with the MPCAH Home Visiting Integration Unit. In this role, she contributes to development of performance monitoring tools, database enhancements, data quality improvements, and data query/reporting for the MPCAH Home Visiting programs. Additionally, she has been brought on board to help foster a better data and accountability culture department wide. Misha has over five years of experience working in public health project monitoring and evaluation, data analysis, and grant management. Her prior work has included working on evaluation planning and data management for USDA and CNCS funded healthy food access programs. Specifically, she has developed data tracking tools for program supervisors, developed pre/post surveys, and facilitated staff trainings. During graduate school she worked as a research assistant in influenza vaccine efficacy, where she was responsible for raw data cleaning, analysis, and protocol development. During her free time, Misha enjoys hiking with her husband, playing ping pong with her friends, and hosting tea parties for her neighbors.
